At Portsoy you can discover and really take part in some of Scotland’s great Living Traditions.

Boat Building…

Perhaps you are looking for somewhere to build your own boat or learn the basic skills involved in traditional wooden boat building…you could stay for a week and build a handy little pram dinghy…alternatively, you might like to spend just three days and build a small sailing dinghy…or if it’s fun packed team building you’re after, for teams of four people, starting from scratch you can build Portsoy’s unique ‘Pessimist’ dinghy…and then see if it sails…or not!
